St. Andrews Beach Brewery

The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery begins in the early 2000s, when co-founder Andrew Purchase built a private racetrack on the property for the icons of Australian horse racing — the Freedman Brothers.

In 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman teamed up with a passionate group of co-owners to transform the stables into something truly special. A one-of-a-kind brewery that honours its racing roots while pouring fresh, local beer every day.

The site was converted into a brewery in 2017. The original horse stables were converted into seating booths for the restaurant and the track became an orchard with 8,000 apple and pear trees.

Always looking at ways to reduce their environmental footprint.  Their farm is solar powered, and they donate spent grain to local farmers and source and recycle water from their very own artesian spring.
